Fanny Morice-Picard is a Senior Physician in the Dermatology Department and Reference Centre for Rare Skin Disorders of Bordeaux University Hospital, founded by Pr Alain Taïeb in 2005. She graduated with a degree in Medical Genetics and obtained her PhD in Biological Sciences, specifically Molecular Genetics, at the University of Bordeaux in 2013, with a focus on molecular aspects of Albinism. She spent 4 years as Senior Registrar in the Medical Genetics Unit and divided her time between clinical activity, molecular diagnostics of albinism and research. Fanny Morice-Picard’s main professional focus includes management and care of patients with rare inherited skin disorders. She coordinates an albinism outpatient consultation at the University Hospital of Bordeaux. She is also involved in different projects on DNA repair disorders and pigment disorders at both the national and the European levels.
Fanny Morice-Picard was a member of the Scientific Committees of the 4th and 5th EDA as well as of ISCA 2022.
